OUR VISION
New life. Two words, a lot of content.
We want to focus on the new things that God wants to do. We want to live this out together. In John's Gospel, chapter 1, it says: "The Word (Jesus Christ) became flesh and lived among us."
The two arrows/triangles point in two directions: upwards and forwards. We look to God and we look to the future. The triangle at the top also represents a roof: we are under God's protection.
The heart symbolizes the love of God and the love for one another. The cross is engraved - Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church.
OUR MISSION
As a church, we have a mission from God in this world. God wants all people to know the truth and be saved through it. The truth is Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
As a local church in the Lake Zurich region, we see our mission as passing on the love of God with which we ourselves have been gifted to people around us and connecting them with this God.

We believe that everyone has hope!
Our values can be summed up with HOPE. HOPE stands for the four values: dedication, openness, presence and unity.
As a church for today, we are there for other people. In our church, hope based on faith is lived out in everyday life.
OUR ACTIONS
Tischlein-deck-dich - food delivery
We started as the 100th drop-off point in Switzerland in the spring of 2015 in Meilen.
Every week we distribute food to people who live on the subsistence level. In Switzerland, 2.8 million tonnes of good quality food are thrown away every year. At the same time, 735,000 people in this country live at or below the subsistence level. We help ensure that food is not destroyed and that people are helped. Every Tuesday from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. with a corresponding ticket.
GemeinSCHAFFT - together we can do it
We help and support people through our Diakonie project GemeinSCHAFFT:
Shopping - moving - apartment hunting - budget - driving - visits - food - etc.
Christmas Package - Giving Hope
Every year we collect Christmas parcels for people affected by poverty in Eastern Europe. These are given to children and adults during Advent. In 2020 we were able to pass on 120 parcels for distribution, and in 2021 we even distributed 220!
