We’re still enjoying the warm late-summer days, but we on the parcel team are already planning the Christmas parcel campaign on 7 November. At Migros, we’re collecting food and other items for the Christmas parcels. To do this, we need lots of generous donors and hard-working volunteers to collect the donations and pack them on site. This year, we are unable to store the parcels at the Viva Church, so we will be taking them to elcasa in Männedorf.
To this end, we are looking for a driver with a spacious car or a trailer.
If you fancy it yourself or know someone who’d like to spend 2–3 hours helping to pack Christmas parcels at Migros, you’re very welcome to join us. If you’re interested, please do get in touch with me.
On Saturday 14 and Wednesday 18 November from 1.00 pm – 4.00 pm Pre-packed parcels are accepted at the Elcase guest house in Männedorf.
On that note, I hope you enjoy the festive spirit in October and November.
