We’re still enjoying the warm late-summer days, but we on the Christmas parcel team are already planning the Christmas parcel campaign on 7 November. We’re collecting food and other items for the Christmas parcels at Migros. To do this, we need lots of generous donors and hard-working volunteers to receive the donations and pack them on site. This year, we won’t be able to pack the parcels in…

Work on the building site is continuing to progress: excavation of the foundation pit is in full swing and the tarmac surface on the north side has already been largely removed. The site power supply has now also been installed. Important planning work is taking place in parallel with the on-site construction work. The next milestone is the laying of the foundation stone. It has been relocated from the south façade of the building to the construction hoarding on Pfannenstielstrasse. This means it is clearly visible to passers-by, particularly those on their way to Meilen railway station. This means that our parish and our building project also remain…

Over 14 Sundays, we’ll read through the entire story together, focusing on key questions about Jesus, his journey and his message. To absorb more of the full richness of the Gospel of Mark, we want to reflect on what we have heard on Tuesdays…
