The Viva Kirche Meilen construction noticeboard has been moved to a new, clearly visible location. It has been relocated from the south façade of the building to the hoarding on Pfannenstielstrasse. This means it is clearly visible to passers-by, particularly those on their way to Meilen station. This ensures that our parish and our building project remain visible even during the construction phase – and piques people’s curiosity about what is taking shape here. A small move with a big impact!

The future is taking shape here – Construction Site Update October 2026/2
Work on the building site is continuing to progress: excavation of the foundation pit is in full swing and the tarmac surface on the north side has already been largely removed. The site power supply has now also been installed. Important planning work is taking place in parallel with the on-site construction work. The next milestone is the laying of the foundation stone. This is expected to take place at the start of the new year.
Christmas Parcel Campaign
We’re still enjoying the warm late-summer days, but we on the Christmas parcel team are already planning the Christmas parcel campaign on 7 November.
